Delete your Bout IQ account
Bout IQ is made by Apex-Corner Apps Ltd. This page explains how to delete your account and the data in it, on iPhone or Android.
Option 1: delete it in the app
- Open Bout IQ and go to Settings → Delete Account
- Type to confirm when asked
- Your account is deleted straight away. This cannot be undone.
Option 2: ask us by email
Email hello@apex-corner.com from the email address you signed up with, with the subject Delete my account. We will delete your account within 30 days.
What is deleted
- Your account and sign-in details
- Your profile
- All your training sessions, including heart rate and GPS routes
- Your food logs, meal scan history, body weight and measurements, and camps
- Your messages with coaches and fighters
- Your links to coaches and to your gym
- Your plan record and the notification tokens for your devices
- Invites you sent
What we keep, and for how long
- Crash reports — kept for 90 days, then removed
- Payment and tax records — the fact that a payment happened, not your training — kept for 6 years, as UK law requires
- Subscriptions are held by Apple or Google. Deleting your account does not cancel them, so cancel in your App Store or Google Play subscriptions first.
If you own a gym
If other people are still in your gym, you cannot delete your account yet. Move them to another gym, or ask them to leave, and then delete your account. The same applies if you email us.
